Embracing Nature
Abundant and diverse birdlife abounds at Gypsy Falls. Enjoy watching them from the verandah of your bungalow or grab the bungalow binoculars and head into the bush. Keep an eye out for Emerald Doves, Regent Bowerbirds, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Spinebill or the Scarlet Honeyeaters.
The Waterfall
Sit down by the viewing platform and listen to the water cascade over Gypsy Falls Waterfall. A perfect spot for every season; with its own pot-belly stove for winter evenings.
Take a walk
Follow our waterfall track to the bottom or across to the old Longworth railway cutting hidden in the bush line. Follow the pink ribbons so you don’t get lost! Please note this is a bush track with steep inclines. We have placed ropes to help guide you over the creeks and to navigate up and down the steep areas. A medium level of fitness is required but take your time as it is well worth it.
Take the Plunge
Take a swim in our salt water mineral swimming pool with it’s own cascading waterfall. A delightful place to be on a hot summer’s day, please help yourself to the complimentary Icy Poles in the freezer in the pool bar. Don’t forget to challenge one another to a game of pool, darts or table tennis in the games room.
